The Role Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a key role across both front desk and administrative functions in a fast-paced specialist environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients
- Managing a high volume of incoming calls and enquiries
- Coordinating and booking procedures
- Processing billing, accounts and Medicare
- Assisting technical staff with patient flow and care
- Preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Data entry and general administration
- Supporting the Practice Manager with ad hoc projects
- Previous experience in a specialist or busy medical practice
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Confident managing high call volumes and competing priorities
- Professional presentation and communication
- Compassionate, empathetic and patient-focused
- Proactive with a positive, team-oriented attitude
